4Court Solutions have had a business relationship with The British Gymnastics Association for a number of years through supplying them with some of the key technology used in their in-house Scoring system for Gymnastics Competitions.
In the summer of 2012, BG asked 4Court if they could supply new touch terminals to replace their existing units as they had extended the scope of the application and required a more powerful and flexible solution.
4Court evaluated a number of units based on the criteria agreed with BG and proposed a solution based on the Posiflex DT-308 Touch terminal. The aim was to have the new systems tested and in place for use at the 2012 Gymnastics World Cup to be held in Glasgow in December 2012.
An initial test system was supplied and proved to be the ideal solution to the challenge. BG was delighted with the terminal and took delivery of the new units in September 2012. The first event to test the new solution was held in Reading in October 2012 and was a great success. As well as the new Touch terminals, BG also implemented a new feature "Timer Key Pads" for use by the judges and these were also supplied by 4Court in time for the Glasgow event.
